Stu and I hung out a lot. back in the day. This is on the common in Southsea one summer.
He's a DJ by trade but has been getting into photography for a while.
Stu was special so I used a silver Polaroid on him.

I have a yeast infection. (On my finger.) And I don't have a beard any more. Coincidence?
Update: Vagistat-3 didn't work in 3 days, like the box said it should. So I went to the doctor and it turns out I have a staph infection!

Seriously.
Apparently 72% of all women get it at least once in their life. Of which about 5% have it on a recurring basis. There is a one pill solution, available by prescription only. The branded version is called Diflucan but generic diflucan or fluconazole is cheaper. Well, if $20 per tablet can be considered cheap.
What they don't tell you about over-the-counter medication is that many of them contain a numbing agent. So after application, all it is really doing is numbing the itch and the pain - till it wears off. Some of the ingredients can aggravate an already tender area and make it worse. And most of them only provide 'temporary relief from the itching and burning."
If diflucan does not work, usually the doctor will prescribe another dose. It does take a couple of days before it kicks in so it's good to be aware of that rather than assume that it's not working. If the second dose also does not work, apparently there is a new douche - also by prescription - that is supposed to work.
Did I mention that men get yeast infection, too?
